Forest, ritual, enchantment: A lecture and talk with David Thurfjell

This evening, we will explore these questions with David Thurfjell, author and professor of religious studies, whose research focuses on religion and secularisation in contemporary Sweden. In his book Granskogsfolk, he describes the religious history of the Swedish love of nature, from Norse notions of animated wilderness to modern exploitation and nature romanticism.
