Artists show Art: Ingrid Pollard

In her four decades of practice Ingrid Pollard uses photography to question deeply engrained social and cultural constructs behind race, identity, community, and gender. Her work reveals subtle and starkly evident injustices through her engagement with the British landscape, iconography, and identity, as well as challenging the medium of photography and its history. – Citation; The Hasselblad Foundation

Ingrid Pollard is a photographer, media artist, and researcher. Her works are represented in the collections of the UK Arts Council and the Victoria & Albert Museum.

After the lecture, there will be an opportunity to participate in a brief introduction to Frida Orupabo’s exhibition.

The lecture will be conducted in English. Admission to the exhibition is included. Limited admission.
