What meanings are entwined in ornamentation? What ideas and values are revealed by decorations? Join us for a personal tour of Chinese ornamentation with Svante Helmbaek Tirén, inspired by Lap-See Lam’s solo exhibition Dreamers’ Quay, Dreamers’ Key.

Svante Helmbaek Tirén is a writer, editor and curator specialising in architectural and ornamental history. Alongside his exhibition and seminar projects, he lectures ornamentation. Helmbaek Tirén has also contributed to the comprehensive catalogue produced in conjunction with Lap-See Lam’s exhibition.

Admission to the exhibition is included. Limited admission, maximum 20 people.
