The book “Read by, Written by” accompanies the exhibition The Image of War. Here “Readers” have been invited to share poems and poetic fragments that respond to currents of war resulting in a unique collection of texts. We turn to poetry when in need to speak and listen acutely, and with a desire to conjure images and ideas that test the limits of language. Poetry is necessary in the wake of atrocity. The book is published by Bonniers Konsthall and Art and Theory Publishing.
