Throughout the new millennium, Berlin has been establishing itself as one of the world’s true centres of art and culture. The intensely active art scene has been making its mark on the city and carving out an entirely unique atmosphere. This year’s Biennale has already sparked great interest in the art world, as it is being curated by the young New York-based art collective DIS.
We have selected the most inspiring exhibitions to attend at the Biennale and will venture out to experience the living art and culture in the city of Berlin. We will take in the unique Sammlung Boros private collection, wander round the trendy gallery district and take our time to discuss the art at a number of Berlin’s pleasant restaurants. Thérèse Dyhlén from Bonniers Konsthall and Berlin-based artist Kalle Brolin will lead us on this trip, and guide us through the various exhibitions.
