The rich artistry of Ylva Ogland encompasses painting along with theatre, music, film and varying ritualistic performances, where audience participation is of the utmost importance. With Ogland’s working methods as the starting point in this evening’s talk, author and art critic Carl-Johan Malmberg and art historian Mårten Snickare discuss the explosive nature of painting.
During the course of the evening, opera singers Vivianne Holmberg and Jens Persson from the Swedish Royal Opera will perform three pieces from Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Ingmar Bergman’s film adaptation of The Magic Flute has greatly inspired Ylva Ogland. (Language: Swedish)
