Experience Lap-See Lam's new public artwork Som en hägring (2024) (like a mirage) at Karl Otto Bonniers Plats outside the Bonnierhuset. We will meet with art historian Svante Helmbaek Tirén, who presents and offers his interpretation of the work.

Som en hägring takes the form of an oversized picture book, inspired by “tunnel books” consisting of a set of collapsible pages. Openings on the cover allow viewers to see through the entire book to the back. The work invites you to a journey through time, space, and dreams – a continuation of Lap-See Lam’s exhibition Dreamers’ Quay, Dreamers’ Key, presented at Bonniers Konsthall in 2022.

Svante Helmbaek Tirén is a writer, editor, and curator specializing in architectural and decorative history. In 2022, he gave a celebrated tour of Lap-See Lam’s extensive solo exhibition Dreamers’ Quay, Dreamers’ Key at Bonniers Konsthall.

After the presentation, we will join the Christmas celebration at Bonniers Konsthall, where festive live music will be presented in collaboration with Enskedejazz. Read more here.

Meeting Point: Karl Otto Bonniers plats, facing the Bonnier House, Torsgatan 21. The presentation lasts approximately 15 minutes.
