6:00 pm - 7:00 pmWelcome to an online poetry and lecture evening with the acclaimed Norwegian-Sámi artist, poet and activist Synnøve Persen! During the evening, she gives a speech about her relationship to the Sámi language and reads from Windless path: A poetic journey in the Sámi language, the Sámi culture and the Nordic landscapes. Through her artistic practice, Persen act against the assimilation and extinction of Sámi culture.

The program is part of the ongoing exhibition The World Is Gone, I Must Carry You, that explores ways of carrying and sounding worlds through a variety of media. The program starts with a breif presentation of the exhibition by curator Mathilde Walker-Billaud, winner of BKH Curator Award 2020. Caroline Elgh Klingborg from Bonniers Konsthall will introduce the guests.
