City Walk: In the Footsteps of Peter Weiss

Welcome to a city walk along some of the streets in Stockholm that have a special significance for Peter Weiss’s writing.

The walk moves through the neighbourhoods of the labour movement and student revolt and follows the traces that the novel The Aesthetics of Resistance left in, and borrowed from, the city. The walk starts from Peter Weiss plats (the intersection of Barnhusgatan and Drottninggatan) and ends at Bonniers Konsthall on Torsgatan 19.

The walk includes a short trip by subway that visitors pay for themselves.

The walk is led by Magnus Bergh, former publisher at Albert Bonniers Förlag, where he published Peter Weiss and Gunilla Palmstierna-Weiss, among others. He has written three books about Peter Weiss: Vägvisare till Motståndets estetik I, Mörkrets litteratur and Peter Weiss stora dröm.

In Swedish. Admission to the exhibition is included. Limited admission.
