In There Is No Landscape<\/em>, we are enjoying the beautiful landscape photography of the mountain Luofu in China while we are listening to a discussion between a reporter and an expert, who are witnessing an artists\u2019 performance. The film confronts us with a dilemma: what to trust, the picture or the interpretative apparatus surrounding it? <\/p>\n

I\u2019m Talking to You<\/em>, is filmed in the homes of people living in Helsinki, documenting their interaction with television, radio and computer while listening to the news. Focusing on the relation between people and what is commonly understood as our primary source of information: the media.<\/p>\n

The discovery of Cecile B. de Mille\u2019s Ten Commandments<\/em> film set, buried in the sands of California for nearly 90 years, is the point of departure for And If In a Thousand Years<\/em>. What hovers over the place is a spirit of uncertainty; one that questions bedrock values like \u2018originality\u2019 and \u2018authenticity\u2019.<\/p>\n
