Q & A Entrance Fee

Why are you re-introducing an entrance fee?

When Jens Fänge’s exhibition opens on 7 February 2018, Bonniers Konsthall will re-introduce an entrance fee. This decision is based upon our expanded exhibition programme. Over the course of 2018, Bonniers Konsthall will feature four (rather than the prior three) exhibition periods per year, as well as remaining open during periods when new art is being hung.

Free admission will be offered on Fridays throughout the year.

What will it cost?

Regular entrance 100 SEK
Senior/Student 80 SEK
Youth up to 25. Free!
Free Fridays for all.

Will Bonniers Konsthall see reduced attendance once the entrance fee is reinstated?

Bonniers Konsthall sincerely hopes that this will not affect our attendance levels. To ensure that everyone feels welcome and is able to access our exhibitions, we have introduced Free Fridays, as well as offering free entrance to certain groups.

Financial Background – Bonniers Konsthall

Bonniers Konsthall is an independent and non-profit art institution, with daily operations funded by personal revenue as well as long-term funding from the Bonnier family and the Jeanette Bonnier Foundation. Annual funding from Bonnier covers costs such as building fees, employees, administration and core funding of Konsthall exhibitions. The Konsthall is dependent on bringing in its own income through sales and venue rentals in order to continue to fulfil our mission of supporting artists in their work, as well as spreading and increasing knowledge of contemporary art.
