Mother’s Tongue is a video work by artist Lap-See Lam and film maker Wingyee Wu, takes viewers on a speculative time-travel through Chinese restaurants in Stockholm. Using 3D laser scans of real restaurants, and the fictive stories of three women working in them, the video work explores cultural, generational and future technological clashes.
